Agora Partnerships to Work With Fábrica Pochi
June 24, 2008 (Managua) - In early May, Agora Partnerships Nicaragua had the pleasure of creating an alliance with another small business: Fábrica Pochi. Fábrica Pochi produces and distributes purified water, carbonated water, juices, and popular artisan and frozen treats. Yasmin Gonzalez, along with her husband and their daughters have been running with Pochi for years.
Yasmin told us, “In one year I visualize my business completely productive, with an efficient market, efficient and dynamic,” and until today the business has not had a marketing or management plan that ensures the development of new ideas to add value and sustainable competitive advantages.
Alfonso Barquero, Agora Partnerships Enterprise Development Manager, said “What most caught my attention about this opportunity was that palpable work effort of the family; the whole family worked together to come out ahead. All of them have accepted a new challenge to continually reinvent the company to conform to the changes in the market, without changing their strategic vision or their values.”
